How Do You Use the Price Scenario Simulator?

Short answer: Enter a current price and capital, and the simulator lists price, value, P&L and return for −50%, −30%, −20%, −10%, +10%, +20%, +30%, +50%, +100% and more.

What it is for

A single price-change calculation gives one percentage. The scenario simulator lays several change levels out in one table so you can compare, on the same rows, how much you lose at each downside price and gain at each upside price.

It does not forecast prices. It simply substitutes different assumed changes into the same formulas to produce the corresponding math.

How to use it

Step 1 — enter the current price and capital; you can also add one custom percentage change.

Step 2 — run it to get the table: each row gives the change, the resulting price, value, P&L and return.

Step 3 — use the levels you care about (for example your tolerable drawdown) to see how your capital changes — not to judge whether the price will get there.

Example (current price 78,400, capital 1,000)

ChangeResulting priceValueP&L
−50%39,200500−500
−30%54,880700−300
−20%62,720800−200
+20%94,0801,200+200
+50%117,6001,500+500
+100%156,8002,000+1,000

Value = capital × (1 + change), P&L = capital × change; all in USDT.

Notes

The table is a pure percentage conversion, excluding fees and ignoring staged entries.

Each level is an independent assumption; only one outcome occurs at a time, so the price is not expected to pass through these points in order.

FAQ

Are the levels fixed?

A common set from −50% to +100% is preset, and you can add any custom percentage change to the table.

How is it different from the price-change calculator?

The price-change calculator handles one percentage at a time; the scenario simulator lays multiple levels side by side for a single comparison.
